Crisp Mornings, Cosy Layers & Autumn Favourites

There’s something special about October mornings at the stables. The air is getting colder, the days are getting shorter, and the first rays of sunlight make everything look a little more beautiful.

The horses are waiting, the coffee is brewing, and the stables slowly come to life. It's one of our favourite times of the year. Even if getting out of bed for those early morning rides is becoming a little harder!

As we settle into autumn, we're reaching for warmer layers, softer fabrics and those little details that make this season feel so cosy.

Layers We Love If there's one thing we can't do without this time of year, it's a good sweater. Our FOUR Dave and Bella sweaters have quickly become some of our favourite everyday pieces. Easy to throw on before heading to the stables, comfortable enough to wear all day, and just as nice with a pair of jeans when you're not riding. Another favourite is our FOUR Balento jacket. We love pieces that work both at the stables and beyond, and this jacket is exactly that. Whether you're heading to an early training session, grabbing a coffee afterwards or going straight to a meeting, it's one of those pieces you can easily dress up or down. Because let's be realistic, we don't always have time to go home and change between everything we have planned!

It's All in the Details

Autumn also brings a little change to the colours we wear. We're loving the warmer, earthy tones that come with this season, which is why we're especially excited about the new Latch belts that have just arrived at FOUR. With some beautiful autumn shades in the collection, they're the perfect little addition to an everyday outfit.

And then there's the jewellery. We love how the soft October sunlight catches the pieces from Toti Equestrian. Sometimes all it takes is a simple necklace or a pair of earrings to make even the most casual outfit feel a little more put together.

Bringing Autumn Home

Of course, our love for autumn doesn't end when we leave the stables.

After a long day outside, there's nothing better than coming home, getting comfortable and lighting a candle. The beautiful candles from Bahia Mala are some of our favourites for this time of year. They bring that warm, cosy feeling into your home and look just as beautiful as they feel.

With the evenings getting darker a little earlier, it's the perfect excuse to slow down and enjoy a quiet evening at home.

The Little Moments

Between training, work, meetings and everything else that fills our days, life doesn't necessarily slow down just because the seasons change.

But October has a way of reminding us to appreciate the little things. A warm coffee on a cold morning, the golden sunlight coming through the stable doors, a favourite sweater, or a cosy evening at home.

And maybe that's what we love most about this season.
